Fll=4th-6th grades
Our FLL team starts with a standard Lego robot. The members build arms and attachments to accomplish the year's tasks with no instructions. Then they program it to do what is needed. Every year there are different challenges and tasks.
They travel to at least one competition per year where they compete against other area teams. If they advance they will compete again other teams from the state, nation, and even the world.
FTC=7th-12th grades
Our FTC team's robots start with a stack of motors, sensors, metal, nuts, and bolts. The members build a robot to accomplish the year's tasks with no instructions. Then they program it to do what is needed. Every year there are different challenges and tasks.
They travel to at least 4 competitions where they compete against other area teams. If they advance they will compete again other teams from the state, nation, and even the world.
Last year our FTC team advanced to Regionals. They won the Design Award, 2nd place for the Control Award, 3rd place for the Inspire Award
